The number one song in the US on this day continued to be Opposites Attract by Paula Abdul. A duo named the Wild Pair were given credit on this song. Their only other credit on a hit song was for singing back up on Stacy Earl's Romeo and Juliet. Earl has been described as an Abdul clone, and this music video seems to prove that out.
