A New Leader For Black America

The ONLY good thing to come out of this whole Imus fiasco is the emergence of Jason Whitlock into the national spotlight.

He has written two brave and insightful columns about this tempest in a teapot, here and here.

He has also appeared on Tucker Carlson's show on MSNBC, the TV network who kicked Imus off their airwaves.

National Anthem Outrage

Some idiot has re-written the words of the American National Anthem and translated it and recorded it in Spanish. The pro-immigration groups are distributing this recording to radio stations in an effort to get everyone to give it airplay. This was a serious mistake. It will destroy all the goodwill they have been trying to build by downplaying the Mexican flags.

John and Ken had the great, great grandson of Francis Scott Key on today talking about this, and he got it exactly right. There is one flag, one national anthem, and one president, and if you disagree, you don't belong here.

It's the NATIONAL Anthem , numbnuts. You can't have more than one version.

Air America

I haven't posted about the scandal at Air America on purpose. Frankly that bunch of political hacks isn't worth the attention. But the fact that the mainstream media isn't covering this is. Can you imagine the coverage if it had been a conservative taking illegal loans from a charity that serves children and the elderly, causing it to lose $10 million in government funding and nearly driving it into bankruptcy?

Tucker Carlson has a regular panelist on his show who has a slot on Air America. As far as I know he hasn't asked her yet about this scandal. Why not? This has just jumped to number 1 on the list of evidence of bias in the mainstream media.

Unbelievable

I just saw something fairly funny in an ironic sort of way. Chris Matthews was interviewing Al Franken about Rush Limbaugh and his success. And both of them sat there straight faced talking about how Rush's success is due to his bloviating and catering to the anger of his listeners. Now I'm no dittohead, but I am I the only one who sees the irony here? These two are the poster children for anger and bloviating!

Matthews at one time was a very good interviewer and commentator before he let his anger consume him, and Franken apparently was funny at one time before he went over the edge. Now these two are marginalized caricatures of their former selves. I bet both of them read the Democratc Underground, and consider it a valuable source for material.

Dark Mondays

Here in SoCal there has been a call for people to not buy gasoline on Mondays by Latino activists to promote their agenda in general, and the right of illegal aliens to get driver's licenses in particular. Unbelievable.

We should be rounding them up and deporting them, and these people are arguing that instead we should be granting them all the privileges of citizenship.

I'm with John and Ken of KFI 640 AM. In a counter-protest, they are encouraging people to buy gas on Mondays instead to show their support for our national soverignty and the rule of law. Hell, I'll drive around aimlessly on Sundays now if I have to so I can fill up on Mondays.
