The end of the Democratic Party?
First they kicked out Zell Miller. Then they attacked the DLC and the only Democrat to get elected president in the last 25 years. Al Gore, who used to be a pretty conservative Democrat (hell at one time he was against abortion) is now a leftwing wacko. The latest is that the whole Daily Kos/moonbat wing of the party is trying to run Joe Lieberman out of the party. Things are getting real ugly. We may actually be witnessing the death of the Democratic Party. As much as I hate Hillary, she may be the Democratic Party's last chance to remain viable.

So what makes Gore a whacko? Because he talks about science?
I wish he did stick to science.
For instance he fails to note that the Greenland ice sheets are breaking off into the ocean, because there is so much ice being added to the glaciers in the middle of Greenland they can't stand the weight.
Nor does he mention that 87% of the greenhouses gases produced every year come from non-human sources.
He fails to note then when you look at climate in a geological time frame, we are in the middle of an ice age.
He fails to acknowledge the Earth's climate probably has more to do with the sun and sun spot cycles than it does greenhouse gases. (note for instance the maunder minimum and its correspondence with the mini ice age.)
He has reversed himself on abortion, tobacco, and the danger of Saddam Hussien. He is still insisting that Florida's votes were stolen from him, when any neutral party must admit he lost. (hell even the liberal media went back and acknowledged that Bush won no matter how you counted the ballots)
Gore has sold his soul to the moonbats on the far left.
By the way, I lament the descent of Gore into moonbattery. In the 80's when he was a voice of reason in the Democratic Party, he was actually my favorite Democrat.

Source please - Just looking at google earth you can see that the ice sheet in no longer as large as it use to be.

That is at least by your figures 13% our fault...or at least we are adding to it. It's not how much we add this year it what we add over 20, 50 100 years.

Come on Gahrie that's pretty cheap. From a Geological point of view the earth could freeze or the oceans could boil next year and it would be nothing but a statistical blip in the geoplogic record

Again these are all things we have no control over. I just don't get it. Let's say that all these "wackos" are wrong
(you know wackos like Dr. Stephen Hawking) So what? We break our addiction to oil and stop aiding terror...be it wind, solar, or other source. If Gore and the like are wrong all that happens is the Middle East losses it's power. If he's right...well I'll leave it at that.
Maybe Gore should change his slide show and say being Gay and Burning flags cause global warming.

2) I notice you left out (as do the leftwing wackos) the only alternate source of energy so far...nuclear energy. I endorse research into new energy sources, primarily because the historical trend is that theses new sources will be cheaper, safer, and more accessible to people worldwide.
