HDTV and Football

The difference in picture between an analog signal and HDTV (especially 1080) is really dramatic. In the Phili/NY game for instance, on analog, the field looks bad. However with HDTV you can see how really awful it is. The center of the field is basically bare dirt. As HD takes over, groundskeepers are going to have to really get their act together to keep their fields presentable.

Wait until you go to watch a game and it's not in HD. It will almost hurt your eyes.
