NFL or Flag Football?

I didn't notice it when it happened, but all of a sudden it became illegal to sneeze on a quarterback in the NFL. I've seen some incredibly ticky tack roughing the passer calls the last two weeks. How long before the NFL simply puts them in a red jersey and makes it illegal to hit them?
