T.D.I.H. - Feb 27
On this date in 1952, the 22nd Amendment to the U.S. Constitution was ratified. This Amendment became neccessary when President Franklin Roosevelt broke the unwritten rule that you only served two terms as president of the United States. George Washington began this tradition when he refused to run for a third term. Everyone else managed to respect this tradition until FDR. The 22nd Amendment mandates that you may only serve two four year terms of office as president. (or one four year term if you have previously served two or more years as president)
